Dental Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team. This position requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff, and a strong understanding of dental procedures.

Overview

• Full Time.
• 37.5 hrs per week.
• £13 – £14 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns, answering questions, and ensuring comfort during treatments.
• Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
• Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Stay informed about new dental technologies and practices to enhance patient care

Qualifications

• Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
• Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
• Excellent organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in English, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• A caring attitude towards patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals visiting the practice.
• Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
