Nursery Practitioner Level 3 (newly qualified) – Southend on Sea

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. We would consider a newly qualified L3.

This position is ideal for a qualified and enthusiastic childcare professional looking to join a dynamic team at a thriving nursery in Southend.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to our young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Knowledge of child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and SEN/Inclusion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Support safe, high-quality education and care for the children

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist in the supervision of the children, ensuring that the highest standards apply at all times.
• To provide a stimulating environment and foster play with a purpose.
• To encourage the children to maintain and develop their own individuality and independence within a supportive group care.
• To keep a record of the activities undertaken during the week. When competent to be involved and contribute to planning of activities.
• To record and/or show awareness of the milestones for the children in your care.
• To bring to the attention of the Nursery Manager any concerns relating to safeguarding and health and safety of the children in your care.
