Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Friern Barnet

• Full Time: 40 Hours per week (5 days a week)
• Salary: £12.50 - £14.50 per hour depending on experience and qualification
• Some experience is required plus Level 3 in childcare

An exciting opportunity has come up to work as a Nursery Nurse in a well-established nursery located in Friern Barnet. The nursery is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Totteridge and Wheatstone tube station on the Northern Line.

The Nursery Nurse will be placed at the preschool and work with 3s to 5s year olds children.

The nursery has large outdoor space and woodland and children and staff spend a lot of time outdoors.

Duties:

• Formulate and operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children attending the Nursery in conjunction with the Owner and Manager.
• Prepare your key children's records and institute reviews for parents, in conjunction with the Owner and Manager.
• Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.
• Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
• To attend out of working hours activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, parent's afternoons.
• Recording accidents/incidents in the books provided
